Hello! I'm Lillian McIntyre. 
I am currently an MA student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the East Asian Languages and Literatures Department. I specialize in Japanese Literature, and my research interests include video games, space, queer studies, and transcultural interactions. 
I hold a BA in Japanese and a BFA in Painting. I am hoping to continue onto the PhD in Japanese Literature.
I speak English and Japanese, as well as rudimentary Italian.
At the moment, I am a Graduate Assistant, and have served as the instructor of record for several undergraduate courses. More information and syllabi can be found under Teaching.
During the summer of 2019, I served as one of the two summer interns from Hawai'i at the Ehime Prefecture International Center. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in the University of Hawai'i's Information & Computer Science Department, as well as a research assistant in the Asian Studies department, helping with Dr. Kristi Govella's research.
